NWBT Associates and Learning

New Works Ballet Theatre Associates is the leading ballet company training program in the south west. For young people aged 7-19, we create original ballet productions and bring ballet to wider audiences.

Our Associates have the privilege of performing along side professional dancers in these productions, receiving extensive coaching for our performances, which accumulate in tours of the south west.

Training

• Develop promising young talents, creativity, performance skills and confidence.

• Learn new approaches to dance, taught by working industry professionals.

• Support in further training and applications for future educational endeavours.

• This is a supplementary training program and it is essential that dancers continue with their exiting classes as these sessions are not designed, nor should, replace existing training.

Performances

• Unique opportunities to work on projects and perform with professionals in NWBT company.

• Each production students will be provided with beautiful costumes.

• Experience professional dance ethos in regular performances with the company members.

• We schedule at least two productions a year and have ranged from “La Fille mal Gardee”, “Little Mermaid”, “Cinderella”, “Rebecca” and “The Wizard of Oz” to name a few!
