New Works Ballet Theatre welcomes you to two world premiers of "The Symphonists" and "Rebecca's tale" to end this Summer.
Created by Company Director and Choreographer Sarah Sigley, "The Symphonists" explores the dynamics and complex relationship between the Conductor, the music and the Musicians.
While loosely based on "Rebecca" by Daphne Du Maurier, "Rebecca's Tale", is a story of mystery, intrigue and hauntings.
Told for the first time as a Ballet, "Rebecca's Tale" is Ballet not as you expect!
Please note - Due to subject matters such as Murder and Death, this is not recommended for Children under the age of 10 years.

May half term Workshop and Show!
Come and join New Works Ballet Theatre and our Associates for 2 days of technique, rehearsals and chance to share what we’ve learning on stage at The Big Act.
This year will will be producing a one act performance of “La Sylphide” by August Bournonville, staged by Company Director Sarah Sigley and a brand new work by Rosy Pigott “Brocéliande”.
We offer affordable , supplementary training for dancers with opportunities that inspire each dancer to become their best, so come along this half term and see what we are about!
Age 7-18 and all abilities welcome!

Based on the all- American classic tale, follow Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion on their journeys of friendship and self discovery.

Company Dancer Positions
We are looking for two female and two males dancers for opening the company again with a production this winter of the "Wizard of Oz".
Rehearsals can be flexible (with enough notice ), however the current dates are...
28th August - 1st September

Note: we may also have a date in the early new year in Wells/Somerset. I am just trying to find out more details, to see if that can be a possibility.
I am just trying to clarify the costs for things, but pay per hour should be about £15-20. Again, I will let you know as soon as I can about that for definite.

Announcing this years summer school with NWBT!
After the success of last year, we are back, this time in person and creating a new production of Swan Lake!
For ages 8-18 years old, on the 23rd-25th August (10am-3pm), held at the Newman Hall in Bristol, we will be creating a new Swan Lake, making costumes and set pieces!
For main roles, there will be an audition on the 4th July, so on application please specify if you would like to attend this to be considered for a main role.
Places are £80 per person with a discount if you sign up to NWBT Associates for September 2021.
